NHST Media Group’s General Meeting adopts share issue and elects new Board Member

The AGM of NHST Media Group has in line with the proposal of the Board of Directors decided to increase the equity capital by way of a fully underwritten and fully paid up rights issue. The purpose of the share offering is to strengthen the Company’s equity capital and operation. The new issue will increase the share capital by NOK 1 250 000 through the issuance of 125,000 new shares at a subscription price of NOK 400 per share. The gross revenues from the share issue will amount to MNOK 50. The subscription period will run from 11 May to 22 May. The prospectus will be sent to the shareholders before the start of the subscription period.
The AGM decided to re-elect Anette S. Olsen and Erik Must to the Board of NHST Media Group AS for a period of two years. Joachim Berner, who lives in Stockholm and was educated at the Gothenburg School of Economics (MBA, BBA), was elected as a new member of the Board of Directors.
For the last fifteen years, Joachim Berner has headed up major media companies undergoing change and has, inter alia, been CEO of Lowe Brindfors (2002-2003), Editor-in-Chief of Expressen (2001), Editor-in-Chief and CEO of Dagens Nyheter (1996-2001), and Editor at Göteborgs-Posten (1993-1996). He is also a third-generation owner in Berner Invest AB. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the following companies: Talentum Sweden AB, MQ Retail AB, Proffice Mediakompetens AB, The Family Business Network, and Stiftelsen institutet för mediestudie (a foundation).
The AGM also adopted the annual accounts for 2008.
